Gillian Richardson has…
worked on television and film productions for years, having started her career working on live news broadcasts in the UK. She immigrated to Toronto, Canada where she worked as a script supervisor on such classic films as “Videodrome”, “The Dead Zone”, and “The Fly”.
Gillian became a production manager and went on to become a line producer and producer. The films she has line produced and/or produced have won over 44 international awards, including a Gemini, 2 Academy Award nominations, and one Oscar.
Gillian eventually immigrated from Canada to the United States where she became the Associate Producer on “The Fly II”, and then producer on “The Vagrant” for Brooksfilms. She has also served on the Executive Board of several non-profit organizations and foundations.
Though not an artist or sculptor, one of Gillian’s favorite pastimes is designing retro bathrooms.
